gadā-prahāra-vyathito bhṛśaṁ vihvalito gajaḥ jānubhyāṁ dharaṇīṁ spṛṣṭvā kaśmalaṁ paramaṁ yayau

ஜம்பாசுரனின் கதாப் பாய்ச்சலால் இந்திரனின் யானை மிகுந்த வேதனையுற்று கலங்கியது. அது முழங்கால்களால் தரையைத் தொட்டு, கடும் மயக்கத்தில் விழுந்தது।
