Sukta 29
यौ श्या॒वाश्व॒मव॑थो वाध्र्य॒श्वं मित्रा॑वरुणा पुरुमी॒ढमत्रिम्। यौ वि॑म॒दमव॑थः स॒प्तव॑ध्रिं॒ तौ नो॑ मुञ्चत॒मंह॑सः
yáu śyāvā́śvam ávatho vādhryā́śvaṃ mitrā́varuṇā purumī́ḍham átrim | yáu vímadam ávathaḥ saptávadhriṃ táu no muñcatam áṃhasaḥ
Ye who aided Śyāvāśva, aided Vādhryaśva, O Mitra, Varuṇa, Purumīḍha, Atri; ye who aided Vimada, aided Saptavadhri— from anguish and from sin release ye us.
மித்ர-வருணரே! நீங்கள் ஷ்யாவாஷ்வருக்கு உதவினீர்; வாத்ர்யஷ்வருக்கு உதவினீர்; புருமீள்ஹ, அத்ரியே! நீங்கள் விமதருக்கு உதவினீர்; சப்தவத்ரிக்கு உதவினீர்—அவ்வாறே எங்களை அம்ʼஹஸ் (பாவம்/தோஷம்) மற்றும் துயரத்திலிருந்து விடுவியுங்கள்.
