शत्रुनाशनम् उदितस्त्रयो अक्रमन् व्याघ्रः पुरुषो वृकः । हिरुग्घि यन्ति सिन्धवो हिरुग् देवो वनस्पतिर्हिरुङ्नमन्तु शत्रवः

IAST Transliteration

śatrunā́śanam udítas tráyo akraman vyāghráḥ púruṣo vṛ́kaḥ | hirúk hí yánti síndhavaḥ hirúk devó vanaspátir hirúṅ namantu śátravaḥ ||

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

For the destruction of foes, arisen, three have strode forth—the tiger, the man, the wolf. ‘Hiruk!’ for the rivers rush; ‘Hiruk!’ the god, the Lord of the Forest: ‘Hiruk!’ let the enemies bow them down.

Translation

பகைவரை அழிக்க, எழுந்து மூவர் முன்னே நடந்தனர்—புலி, மனிதன், ஓநாய். ‘ஹிருக்!’ என்று நதிகள் வேகமாய் பாய்கின்றன; ‘ஹிருக்!’ என்று வனஸ்பதி-அதிபதியான தேவன்; ‘ஹிருக்!’ என்று பகைவர்கள் தலைவணங்கட்டும்/வீழட்டும்.
