Sukta 107
स्तुष्व वर्ष्मन् पुरुवर्त्मानं समृभ्वाणमिनतममाप्तमाप्त्यानाम्। आ दर्शति शवसा भूर्योजाः प्र सक्षति प्रतिमानं पृथिव्याः
stúṣva várṣman puru-vártmānaṃ samṛbhvā́ṇam inátamam ā́ptatamam ā́ptyānām | ā́ darśati śávasā bhū́ry-ojāḥ prá sáxati pratímānaṃ pṛthivyā́ḥ ||
Praise thou, O Lofty One, him of many pathways, the well-wrought, the most impelling, the most surely won among all attainments. With might he showeth him, of abundant strength; he presseth forth and overcometh the earth’s opposing measure.
ஓ உயர்ந்தவனே (வர்ஷ்மன்)! பல வழிகளையுடைய, நன்கு அமைந்த, மிகுந்த தூண்டுதலளிப்பவனாகிய, எல்லா அடைவுகளிலும் மிக உறுதியாகப் பெறத்தக்க (இந்திரன்) அவரைத் துதி செய். அவர் தம் வலிமையால், மிகுந்த சக்தியுடன், தம்மை வெளிப்படுத்துகிறார்; அவர் முன்னேறி, பூமியின் எதிர்ப்பான அளவு/எல்லையை அழுத்தி வென்று விடுகிறார்.
