तव द्यौरिन्द्र पौंस्यं पृथिवी वर्धति श्रवः । त्वामापः पर्वतासश्च हिन्विरे

IAST Transliteration

tavá dyáur índra paúṁsyaṁ pṛthivī́ vardhati śrávaḥ | tvā́m ā́paḥ párvatāsaś ca hinvire

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Thine, O Indra, is Heaven’s manly puissance; Earth increaseth thy renown. The Waters and the Mountains, both, impel thee onward.

இந்திரா! த்யௌ (வானம்/சுவர்க்கம்) உடைய ஆண்மைப் பலம் உன்னதே; ப்ருதிவி (பூமி) உன் ஶ்ரவஸ் (புகழ்/கீர்த்தி) வளர்க்கிறது. ஆபஸ் (நீர்த் தெய்வங்கள்) மற்றும் பர்வதங்களும் உன்னை முன்னே தள்ளுகின்றன.
