इमा उ त्वा पुरूवसो गिरो वर्धन्तु या मम । पावकवर्णाः शुचयो विपश्चितोऽभि स्तोमैरनूषत

IAST Transliteration

imā́ u tvā purū́vaso gíro vardhantu yā́ máma | pāvakávarṇā́ḥ śúcayo vipaścíto ’bhí stómair anūṣata ||

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

These, verily, O Much-wealthy, my songs shall strengthen thee;—pure, of cleansing lustre, wise and stainless,—they have with praises sung unto thee.

Translation

ஓ புருவஸோ (பெருஞ்செல்வனே), என் இவ்வாய்ந்த ஸ்துதிப் பாடல்கள் உன்னை வளர்த்துப் பலப்படுத்தட்டும். பாவக-வர்ணம் (சுத்தி அளிக்கும் ஒளியுடைய), சுசி (தூய), விபஶ்சித் (ஞானி) ஆகியவை ஸ்தோமங்களால் உன்னை நோக்கிப் புகழ்ந்து பாடின.
