Sukta 3
इमा नारीरविधवाः सुपत्नीराञ्जनेन सर्पिषा सं स्पृशन्ताम्। अनश्रवो अनमीवाः सुरत्ना आ रोहन्तु जनयो योनिमग्रे
imā́ nā́rīr avidhávāḥ supátnīr ā́ñjanena sarpíṣā sáṃ spṛśantām | anaśrávo anamī́vāḥ surátnā ā́ róhantu jánayo yónim ágre ||
Let these women, unwidowed, good wives, with collyrium and with ghee make full anointing-touch. Of stainless fame, free from disease, rich in fair treasure, let the mothers mount the womb, in the foremost place.
இந்தப் பெண்கள் விதவையல்லாதவர்களாக, நல்ல மனைவியராக, அஞ்சனம் மற்றும் ஸர்பிஷா (நெய்) கொண்டு முழுமையான தொடு-அபிஷேகத்தைச் செய்யட்டும். குற்றமற்ற புகழுடையவர்களாக, நோயற்றவர்களாக, நல்ல ரத்தினச் செல்வம் உடையவர்களாக—இந்தத் தாய்மார்கள் முன்னிடத்தில் கருப்பையின்மேல் ஏறட்டும்.
