धर्ता ह त्वा धरुणो धारयाता ऊर्ध्वं भानुं सविता द्यामिवोपरि । लोककृतः पथिकृतो यजामहे ये देवानां हुतभागा इह स्थ

IAST Transliteration

dhartā́ ha tvā dharuṇó dhārayātā ūrdhvám bhānúṃ savitā́ dyā́m iva úpari | lokakṛ́taḥ pathikṛ́to yajāmahe yé devā́nāṃ hutábhāgā ihá sthá ||

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

The Holder—yea, the firm Support—shall hold thee fast; Savitar hath set the beam aloft, as ’twere the sky above. We worship the World-ordainers, the Path-ordainers, who have their portion in the offered gift: be present here.

Translation

தார்த்தா—ஆம், உறுதியான ஆதாரம்—உன்னை நிலையாகத் தாங்கட்டும்; சவிதா கதிர்/பானுவை மேலே, த்யௌ (வானம்) மேலே இருப்பதுபோல், நிறுவினார். ஹவியில் பங்கு உடைய உலக-கர்த்தாக்களையும் பாத-கர்த்தாக்களையும் நாம் யஜனம் செய்கிறோம்; அவர்கள் இங்கே இருப்பாராக.
