अदितिर्मादित्यैः प्रतीच्या दिशः पातु बाहुच्युता पृथिवी द्यामिवोपरि । लोककृतः पथिकृतो यजामहे ये देवानां हुतभागा इह स्थ

IAST Transliteration

áditiḥ mā ādítyaiḥ pratī́cyā diśáḥ pātu bāhucyútā pṛthivī́ dyā́m iva úpari | lokakṛ́taḥ pathikṛ́to yajāmahe yé devā́nāṃ hutábhāgā ihá sthá ||

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

May Aditi, with the Ādityas, guard me from the western quarter; and Earth, slipped from my arm, be over me as it were the Sky. The world-ordainers, the path-ordainers—those who have their portion of oblation among the Gods—we worship: here may they stand.

மேற்கு திசையிலிருந்து அதிதி, ஆதித்யர்களுடன், என்னைக் காக்கட்டும்; என் புயத்திலிருந்து வழுந்திய பூமி, ஆகாயம்போல் என்மேல் மேலாக விரிந்திருக்கட்டும். உலகை அமைப்போர், பாதையை அமைப்போர்—தேவர்களிடையே ஹவியின் பங்குடையோர்—அவர்களை நாம் யஜனம் செய்கிறோம்; அவர்கள் இங்கே நிலைத்து நிற்கட்டும்.
