विद्म ते स्वप्न जनित्रं देवजामीनां पुत्रोऽसि यमस्य करणः

vidmá te svapna janítraṃ devajāmīnā́ṃ putró ’si yamásya káraṇaḥ

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

We know thy birthplace, O Dream: thou art the son of the God-kin, the instrument of Yama.

Translation

ஓ ஸ்வப்னா (கனவே), உன் பிறப்பிடத்தை நாம் அறிவோம்; நீ தேவஜாமீனாம் (தேவ-குலத்தார்) என்போரின் புதல்வன்; யமனின் கரணம் (கருவி/உபகரணம்) நீயே.
