Sukta 4
वा॒स॒न्तौ मासौ॑ गो॒प्तारा॒वकु॑र्वन् बृ॒हच्च॑ रथंत॒रं चा॑नुष्ठा॒तारौ॑
vāsantaú māsáu goptā́rāv akurvan bṛhácc a rathantaraṃ́ cānuṣṭhātā́rau
The two spring months they made his guardians; Bṛhat and Rathantara, too, as his two executors of the rite.
வசந்தத்தின் இரு மாதங்களை அவர்கள் அவனுடைய காவலர்களாக அமைத்தனர்; மேலும் ‘ப்ருஹத்’ மற்றும் ‘ரதந்தர’—இவ்விரண்டையும் அவனுடைய யாகச் சடங்கின் அனுஷ்டாதாக்கள் (செயல் நிறைவேற்றுவோர்) ஆக வைத்தனர்.
