शुश्रूषा श्रवणग्रहणधारणविज्ञानोहापोहतत्त्वाभिनिविष्टबुद्धिं विद्या विनयति नेतरम् ॥ कZ_०१.५.०५ ॥
Transliteration
śuśrūṣā śravaṇa-grahaṇa-dhāraṇa-vijñāna-uhāpoha-tattvābhiniviṣṭa-buddhiṃ vidyā vinayati netaram
Translation
சேவை மனப்பான்மையுடன் கூடிய கவனம் (சுஷ்ரூஷா), கேட்பு, புரிதல், நினைவில் வைத்தல், அறிவுணர்வு, தர்க்கம் (ஊஹா-அபோஹ) மற்றும் உண்மையில் உறுதியான பற்றுதல் கொண்ட புத்தியையே கல்வி ஒழுக்கப்படுத்தும்; மற்றதை அல்ல.
