Sutra 22

चारकादभियुक्तं मुञ्चतो निष्पातयतो वा मध्यमः साहसदण्डः अभियोगदानं च बन्धनागारात्सर्वस्वं वधश्च ॥ कZ_०४.९.२२ ॥

Transliteration

cārakād abhiyuktaṃ muñcato niṣpātayato vā madhyamaḥ sāhasadaṇḍaḥ abhiyogadānaṃ ca bandhanāgārāt sarvasvaṃ vadhaś ca

Translation

சாரக (காவல்) நிலையிலிருந்து குற்றஞ்சாட்டப்பட்டவரை விடுவிப்பவனோ அல்லது முறையற்ற வகையில் வெளியேற்றுவோனோ நடுத்தர சாஹச அபராதத்திற்கும், ‘அபியோகதானம்’ (மாற்றுக் குற்றஞ்சாட்டப்பட்டவரை வழங்குதல்) என்பதற்கும் உட்படுவான்; சிறையிலிருந்து (விடுவித்தால்) அனைத்துச் சொத்துப் பறிமுதல் மற்றும் மரண தண்டனை.
