तस्यातिक्रम उत्तमो दण्डः कर्तुः कारयितुश्च कर्मणा व्यापादनेन च ॥ कZ_०४.८.२० ॥

Transliteration

tasyātikrama uttamo daṇḍaḥ kartuḥ kārayituś ca karmaṇā vyāpādanena ca

Translation

அந்த (கட்டுப்பாட்டை) மீறினால் மிக உயர்ந்த தண்டனை—செய்தவருக்கும் செய்ய வைத்த/ஆணையிட்டவருக்கும்; மேலும் அந்தச் செயலில் ஏற்பட்ட சேதம் அல்லது மரணத்திற்கும் (பொறுப்பு உண்டு)।
