Chapter 139 — षष्टिसंवत्सराः (The Sixty Years)
யுத்தஜயார்ணவத்தின் ஜோதிடப் பகுதியில் ஈசுவரன் அறுபது வருட (ஷஷ்டி-ஸம்வத்ஸர) சுழற்சியை அரசாட்சி மற்றும் சமூக நலனுக்கான சுப-அசுப பலன் கணிப்பின் கட்டமைப்பாக விளக்குகிறார். பிரபவ, விபவ, பிரஜாபதி, அங்கிரா, ஈசுவர, பிரமாதீ, விக்ரம, துர்முக, ஹேமலம்ப, விலம்ப போன்ற பெயருடைய ஆண்டுகள் யாகச் செழிப்பு, மக்கள் மகிழ்ச்சி, பயிர் விளைச்சல், மழை (மித/அதிமழை), ஆரோக்கியம்-நோய், செல்வ இழப்பு, சமூக கடுமை, வெற்றி வாய்ப்பு ஆகிய குறியீடுகளுடன் இணைக்கப்படுகின்றன. இரத்தம் போன்ற சுரப்பு, இரத்தக் கண்கள், செம்மஞ்சள் வானம், பெருக்கெடுக்கும் நீர், மேலும் ‘சித்தார்த்த/ரௌத்ர/துர்மதி/துந்துபி’ போன்ற நிலைகள் காலத்துடன் தொடர்புடைய நிமித்தங்களாகக் கூறப்பட்டு, கொள்கை முடிவு, படை எச்சரிக்கை, மக்கள் நல நடவடிக்கைகளுக்கு வழிகாட்டுகின்றன. இவ்வத்யாயம் அரசுக்கு உகந்த சுருக்கமான ஜோதிடக் கையேடு; காலத்தை தர்மம், வளம், தந்திர வெற்றிக்கான செயற்படுத்தக்கூடிய அறிவாகக் காண்கிறது।
