इयं महोपनिषत् त्रैपुर्या यामक्षरं परमो गीर्भिर् ईट्टे । एषा ऋग्यजुः परमेतच्च सामायम् अथर्वेयम् अन्याच विद्या ॥ ॐ ह्रीम् । ॐ ह्रीम् इत्युपनिषत् ॥१६॥

IAST Transliteration

iyaṃ mahopaniṣat traipuryā yām akṣaraṃ paramo gīrbhir īṭṭe | eṣā ṛgyajuḥ paramaitac ca sāmāyam atharveyam anyā ca vidyā || oṃ hrīm | oṃ hrīm ity upaniṣat ||16||

Translation

इयं त्रैपुर्या महोपनिषत्, यत्राक्षरः परमो ब्रह्म गीर्भिः स्तूयते। एषा ऋग्यजुषां परमं तत्त्वं, एषैव सामस्वरूपा, एषाथर्वणीयी, अन्याच परा विद्या। ‘ॐ ह्रीम्, ॐ ह्रीम्’ इत्युपनिषत्॥१६॥

Academic Translation

This is the great Upaniṣad of Tripurā, in which the Supreme Imperishable is praised with sacred utterances. This (teaching) is the supreme (essence) of the Ṛg and Yajus; and this indeed is the Sāman; this is of the Atharvan; and it is also another (higher) knowledge. ‘Oṃ hrīm; Oṃ hrīm’—thus is the Upaniṣad.
