हसतां गायतां क्वापि नृत्यतामथ धावताम् । जिघ्रतां पिबतां कामाद्गच्छतां प्रतिगर्जताम्
hasatāṃ gāyatāṃ kvāpi nṛtyatāmatha dhāvatām | jighratāṃ pibatāṃ kāmādgacchatāṃ pratigarjatām
केचित् हसन्ति, केचित् क्वापि गायन्ति; अन्ये नृत्यन्ति धावन्ति च। केचित् जिघ्रन्ति, केचित् कामतः पिबन्ति; अन्ये गच्छन्तः परस्परं प्रतिगर्जन्ति।
