Śabarī
Scene: A devotee mentally renounces crowns, celestial thrones, and Brahmā’s seat, choosing instead to become a small bee hovering at the radiant lotus-feet of Īśa, drinking nectar-like grace.
Devotion to Śiva transcends worldly power and even heavenly rewards; the devotee seeks only service at the Lord’s feet.
No site is named; the focus is on the ‘pāda-tīrtha’ ideal—the sanctity of Śiva’s lotus feet as the devotee’s refuge.
No external rite is prescribed; it is a vow of exclusive devotion and renunciation of reward-seeking.
