Protocol of Tapas, Mantra-Japa, and Śiva-Dhyāna
विचार्य्येत्यर्जुनस्तत्र जगौ शिवशिवेति च । प्रणनाम शिवं भूयस्तुष्टाव च पुनः पुनः
vicāryyetyarjunastatra jagau śivaśiveti ca | praṇanāma śivaṃ bhūyastuṣṭāva ca punaḥ punaḥ
विचार्य्येत्यर्जुनस्तत्र जगौ शिवशिवेति च । प्रणनाम शिवं भूयस्तुष्टाव च पुनः पुनः ॥

Significance: Repetition of the Name (“Śiva, Śiva”) models nāma-smaraṇa as a simple sādhana accessible at all tīrthas and temples.

It presents a Shaiva pattern of transformation: inner reflection (vicāra) ripens into devotion through Śiva-nāma, humble prostration, and repeated praise—signs of surrender to Pati (Śiva) that draw His grace.
Though the verse names Śiva rather than describing a form, it depicts Saguna-upāsanā in practice—addressing Śiva personally through name, pranāma, and stuti, which commonly accompany Liṅga-pūjā and temple worship.
Simple nāma-japa—repeating “Śiva, Śiva” with mindful reflection—followed by pranāma and stotra-recitation; it can be integrated with daily worship, including bhasma (tripuṇḍra) and Rudrākṣa as supportive Shaiva disciplines.
