Lord Śiva (narrating the arising of beings from his state/energy in the Satī-khaṇḍa context)
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Sadyojāta
Role: creative
Offering: pushpa
Cosmic Event: Emanation of a cosmic principle (Vasanta) from the creator’s breath during deliberative saṅkalpa
It teaches that even the forces of nature (like Spring and blossoming) arise from Mahādeva’s inner state—showing Śiva as Pati, the ultimate source behind manifest beauty and change, while remaining transcendent.
The verse supports Saguna contemplation: devotees can worship the Liṅga as the visible support of the same Lord from whom seasons and life’s rhythms emerge, recognizing nature’s splendor as Śiva’s vibhūti (divine expression).
A simple practice is to meditate on the breath (prāṇa) as Śiva’s power—mentally repeating the Pañcākṣarī “Om Namaḥ Śivāya” with inhalation and exhalation, offering flowers as a symbol of the blossoming of devotion.
