Lord Shiva (Rudra)
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
Role: liberating
Cosmic Event: Vision of the universe-in-Śiva (immanence) and perception of Brahmā-Rudra hierarchy as a revelatory event.
It teaches that Shiva (Pati) is the inner ground of the entire cosmos and that true knowledge arises by His grace as “divine vision,” enabling the seeker to perceive reality in Shiva rather than as separate from Him.
Linga-worship trains the mind to recognize Shiva as the all-pervading support of manifest existence; this verse expresses that culmination—through devotion and inner union, the devotee is granted the capacity to see the universe established in Shiva’s presence (Saguna leading toward the realization of the supreme principle).
A focused dhyāna: remain “ataṃdrita” (steadfast), contemplate all beings and worlds as resting in Shiva, and pray for His anugraha (grace) for divya-dṛṣṭi; this pairs naturally with japa of “Om Namaḥ Śivāya” and Linga-dhyāna.
