Lord Shiva
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
Role: liberating
It teaches that liberation is ultimately rooted in Shiva’s anugraha (grace): the highest principle is subtle, changeless, and beyond suffering, and realizing it dissolves bondage.
Linga worship begins with Saguna devotion and culminates in recognizing Shiva as Parabrahman—subtle and nirvikāra—so the outer symbol leads the seeker to the formless truth through grace.
Contemplate Shiva as the subtle, unchanging Parabrahman while repeating the Panchakshara (Om Namaḥ Śivāya), praying specifically for anugraha (grace) to remove inner affliction and ignorance.
