मायान्तु प्रकृतिं विद्यादिति माया श्रुतीरिता । तज्जान्येतानि तत्त्वानि श्रुत्युक्तानि न संशयः
māyāntu prakṛtiṃ vidyāditi māyā śrutīritā | tajjānyetāni tattvāni śrutyuktāni na saṃśayaḥ
मायां तु प्रकृतिं विद्यात्—इति माया श्रुतिरिता। तज्ज्ञात्वा तत्त्वान्येतानि श्रुत्युक्तानि न संशयः॥

It identifies Māyā with Prakṛti as a Śruti-taught principle, framing bondage as arising from Nature’s veiling power; liberation in Shaiva Siddhanta comes by discerning these tattvas and turning to Pati (Shiva) who transcends them.
The Linga signifies Shiva beyond Māyā-Prakṛti; worship of Saguna Shiva (with form) purifies the mind and tattva-awareness, leading the devotee toward realization of the Nirguna, Māyā-transcending Shiva indicated by the Linga.
Practice tattva-viveka (discriminative contemplation) alongside japa of the Panchakshara “Om Namaḥ Śivāya,” supported by Tripuṇḍra (bhasma) and Rudrāksha as Shaiva disciplines to weaken Māyā’s veiling and fix awareness in Shiva.
