ā́d ítsāptásya carkiran nā́nūnasya máhi śrávaḥ | śyā́vīr ati-dhvasán páthaś cákṣuṣā caná sámnaśe ||
Translation
अथ खलु सप्तस्य स्तुतिं कुर्वन् अनूनस्य (अक्षयस्य) महि श्रवः प्रवर्धते। श्यावाः (तमसः) पथः अतिध्वसन्ति; चक्षुषा अपि न संनशे—एवं तमः मार्गात् पराङ्कृतं भवति।
