शूरंशूरेणसम्गम्यसम्युगेष्वपराजितः ।लक्ष्मणेनहतश्शूरःपुत्रस्तेमहेन्द्रजित् ।।।।गतस्सपरमान्लोकान्शरैस्सन्ताप्यलक्ष्मणम् ।
śūraṁ śūreṇa saṅgamya saṁyugeṣv aparājitaḥ |
lakṣmaṇena hataḥ śūraḥ putras te mahendrajit |
gataḥ sa paramāṁl lokān śaraiḥ santāpya lakṣmaṇam ||
शूरेण शूरः समरे समागम्य, युध्येष्वपराजितोऽपि तव शूरपुत्रो महेन्द्रजित् लक्ष्मणेन निहतः। स तु शरैर्लक्ष्मणं सन्ताप्य परमाँल्लोकान् गतः॥
'Let that supreme bow and the great arrows bestowed to me, by Brahma the creator who was pleased, when I fought in battle between Devas and Asuras, be brought to destroy Rama and Lakshmana today accompanied by hundreds of trumpets.'
