तत्कुम्भकर्णस्यभुजप्रविद्धंशूलंशितंकाञ्चनदामजुष्टम् ।क्षिप्रंसमुत्पत्यनिगृह्यदोर्भ्यांबभञ्जवेगेनसुतोऽनिलस्य ।।।।
tat kumbhakarṇasya bhujapraviddhaṃ śūlaṃ śitaṃ kāñcanadāmajuṣṭam | kṣipraṃ samutpatya nigṛhya dorbhyāṃ babhañja vegena suto 'nilasya ||
तत् कुम्भकर्णस्य भुजप्रविद्धं शूलं शितं काञ्चनदामजुष्टम्। क्षिप्रं समुत्पत्य दोर्भ्यां निगृह्य वेगेन बभञ्ज सुतोऽनिलस्य॥
Hanuman the son of wind-god instantly seized Kumbhakarna with his arms, whose shaft was covered by chains and broke with both hands quickly.
