Mighty Kabandha shook himself off the funeral pyre and rose like smokeless fire, wearing a pair of clean clothes and a divine garland.
Truthful speech offered for another’s welfare—satya aligned with compassion—is presented as a dharmic act.
A recensional repetition of Kabandha’s skyborne address to Rama, introducing his strategic counsel.
Reliability in counsel: Kabandha emphasizes “tattvena” (in truth), underscoring integrity.
