जटायुवृत्तान्तः
Jatāyu’s Testimony and Rāma’s Grief
रामस्तस्य तु विज्ञाय बाष्पपूर्णमुखस्तदा।द्विगुणीकृततापार्तस्सीतासक्तां प्रियां कथाम्।।।।
rāmas tasya tu vijñāya bāṣpapūrṇamukhas tadā |
dviguṇīkṛtatāpārtaḥ sītāsaktāṃ priyāṃ kathām ||
रामः तस्य वचनं श्रुत्वा सीतासम्बद्धां प्रियकथां विज्ञाय तदा बाष्पपूर्णमुखोऽभवत्। तस्य शोकः द्विगुणीकृतः, स दुःखेनावशोऽभवत्॥
Having known from Jatayu the story of his beloved Sita, Rama was full of tears, his grief redoubled.
