Khara Mobilizes the Janasthana Host
tatas tad rākṣasaṃ sainyaṃ ghoracarmāyudhadhvajam |
nirjagāma janasthānān mahānādaṃ mahājavam || 3.22.19 ||
Then the army of the demons wearing dreadful shields, holding weapons and flags, and making a loud noise started in great speed from Janasthanam.
Collective momentum can magnify harm; dharma calls for restraint and right counsel before force is unleashed, because speed and noise can drown out truth and discernment (satya-buddhi).
After Khara’s command, the rākṣasa host departs Janasthāna in a loud, rapid mobilization.
Martial efficiency and coordinated movement—again presented as strength without moral direction.
