Brahmā (explicit: “brahmovāca”)

Concept: Māyā, identical in function with prakṛti, is proclaimed as the creative power employed in manifestation; ‘śiva’ is described as complete, steadfast, and glorious—an auspicious, stable telos.

Application: Discern the difference between the changing play of māyā and the stable goal of spiritual auspiciousness; practice devotion and ethical steadiness rather than chasing transient forms.

Primary Rasa: shanta

Secondary Rasa: adbhuta

Type: celestial_realm

Visual Art Cues: {"scene_description":"Brahmā, seated on a lotus emerging from the cosmic waters, speaks with measured authority as a translucent veil of Māyā—woven of the three guṇas—unfurls behind him like a living tapestry. FAQs

The speaker is Brahmā, indicated directly by the phrase “brahmovāca” (“Brahmā said”).

The verse identifies Māyā as prakṛtirūpiṇī—Māyā functioning as Prakṛti, the manifesting creative principle through which creation proceeds.

It presents Śiva as the stable, complete goal (dhruva, samagra vibhava)—the ultimate auspicious fulfillment toward which beings proceed, especially within a creation-theology framework.
