Śrī Sanatkumāra
Concept: Sādhu-nindā is the greatest nāmāparādha; seeing Viṣṇu, His qualities, and His Names as non-different leads to beneficent nāma-realization.
Application: Practice speech-austerity: do not gossip about devotees; cultivate appreciative remembrance of others’ devotion; train the mind to see divine presence in sacred sound and sacred character.
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
Visual Art Cues: {"scene_description":"Sanatkumāra sits in luminous stillness, teaching a circle of attentive sages; above them, Viṣṇu’s form subtly merges into a garland of glowing names and qualities, as if the syllables themselves are divine limbs. In the shadows at the edge, a tongue-shaped dark wisp symbolizes slander dissolving under the radiance of satsanga.","primary_figures":["Śrī Sanatkumāra","assembly of sages","Śrī Viṣṇu as a subtle theophany of nāma-guṇa"],"setting":"forest āśrama with lotus pond nearby, manuscript stand, sacred fire, quiet discipleship circle","lighting_mood":"divine radiance","color_palette":["radiant gold","lotus white","emerald green","deep ultramarine","vermillion"],"tanjore_prompt":"Tanjore painting style: Sanatkumāra enthroned on a lotus seat with gold-leaf halo, instructing sages; behind him a large gold-leaf Viṣṇu aura where nāma syllables form a circular mandala (nāma-guṇa-rūpa unity); rich reds/greens, gem-like highlights on ornaments, ornate arch and floral motifs.","pahari_prompt":"Pahari miniature style: serene Sanatkumāra in pale saffron, sages seated under trees by a lotus pond; a translucent Viṣṇu appears in the sky with fine calligraphic names woven into his aura; cool refined palette, delicate faces, lyrical naturalism.","kerala_mural_prompt":"Kerala mural style: bold outlines, Sanatkumāra with stylized eyes, sages in symmetrical rows; Viṣṇu aura as a patterned disc of golden script; red-yellow-green pigments with deep blue background, temple-wall compositional clarity.","pichwai_prompt":"Pichwai cloth painting style: central nāma-mandala with Viṣṇu presence, surrounded by lotus borders and floral vines; sages as small figures in devotional ring; peacocks at corners, intricate gold detailing on deep blue cloth, emphasizing the sanctity of devotees and nāma."}

The verse states that criticizing saintly devotees (satāṃ nindā) is the greatest offense (paramam aparādha) against the Holy Name.
Because those saintly persons have attained renown through the power of the Name, and disparaging them is treated as disparaging what the Name has accomplished and honored.
Seeing Śrī Viṣṇu and all His names, qualities, and related aspects as non-different (abhinna) in one’s understanding—an undivided reverence toward God and His Name.
