Sūta

Concept: Sacred narratives are ‘parama-durlabha’ and should be heard with attention; merit-bearing accounts are transmitted with procedural correctness (vidhāna).

Application: Make time for daily śravaṇa/reading of sacred texts; approach teachings with discipline—regularity, respect, and a willingness to follow practice, not just theory.

Primary Rasa: shanta

Secondary Rasa: adbhuta

Visual Art Cues: {"scene_description":"Sūta raises his hand in a gentle teaching gesture, promising a concise yet orderly narration of a rare, merit-filled account. The listening brāhmaṇa leans forward, the assembly quieting as if the very forest holds its breath for the ‘vidhāna’ to unfold.","primary_figures":["Sūta","brāhmaṇa listener","assembly of sages"],"setting":"Sacrificial pavilion with a low yajña fire, stacked palm-leaf manuscripts, and a simple wooden lectern; deer-skin mats and kuśa grass seats arranged in semicircle.","lighting_mood":"temple lamp-lit","color_palette":["warm amber","smoked umber","ivory","deep maroon","forest green"],"tanjore_prompt":"Tanjore painting style: Sūta centered beneath an ornate arch with gold leaf halo; manuscripts and ritual vessels rendered with jewel-like detail; rich reds/greens, embossed gold borders, and a luminous yajña flame reflecting on faces.","pahari_prompt":"Pahari miniature style: intimate teaching circle with fine facial expressions; soft lamplight and muted earth tones; delicate depiction of manuscripts and kuśa seats; forest backdrop painted with lyrical naturalism.","kerala_mural_prompt":"Kerala mural style: Sūta in frontal teaching pose with bold outlines; stylized fire altar and symmetrical sage group; dominant reds and yellows with green foliage bands like temple wall registers.","pichwai_prompt":"Pichwai cloth painting style: central panel of Sūta teaching within a lotus-frame; ornate border of manuscript motifs, conch and discus emblems, and floral creepers; deep blue ground with gold highlights suggesting ‘rare’ sacred knowledge."}
