Narada (teaching in a Tirtha-Mahatmya setting; Uttara-Bhaga narrative voice)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It teaches that reaching the sacred Purushottama tirtha and remembering Hari at life’s end leads to the śānta-pada—Vishnu’s peaceful, liberation-giving state.
Bhakti is expressed as smaraṇa (remembrance): the decisive act is holding Hari in consciousness, especially at the moment of leaving the body, which is presented as the direct means to the supreme goal.
No specific Vedanga (like Vyākaraṇa, Jyotiṣa, or Kalpa) is taught in this verse; the practical takeaway is sādhana through smṛti—cultivating steady remembrance of Hari, often supported by tīrtha-sevā and pilgrimage discipline.
