Transliteration

*śaunaka uvāca krodhenośanasā śapto yayātirnāhuṣastadā pūrvaṃ vayaḥ parityajya jarāṃ sadyo 'nvapadyata //

Translation

शौनक उवाच—तदा नहुषपुत्रो राजा ययातिः क्रोधेनोशनसा शप्तः पूर्वं यौवनं परित्यज्य सद्य एव जरामन्वपद्यत्।
