sumedhā virajāś caiva haviṣmān unnato madhuḥ / atināmā sahiṣṇuś ca saptāsann iti carṣayaḥ
सुमेधा विरजा हविष्मान् उन्नतो मधुरतिनामा सहिष्णुश्च—एते सप्त ऋषयः।
The stability of the world-age is anchored by ṛṣis—embodiments of tapas, memory, and dharma—who transmit knowledge and regulate sacred order.
Manvantara: standard manvantara-description includes Manu, Devas, Indra, and Saptarṣis.
Seven seers can be read as seven ‘channels’ of revelation sustaining a cycle; their names emphasize qualities (purity, endurance, elevation) as archetypes of spiritual governance.
