तस्मिन् दृष्टे ततः शिष्यमुवाच स तु गौतमम् ।

गौतमानी यतां शीघ्रमर्घोऽस्य जगतीपतेः ॥

tasmin dṛṣṭe tataḥ śiṣyam uvāca sa tu gautamam |

gautamānīyatāṃ śīghram argho 'sya jagatīpateḥ ||

तं दृष्ट्वा स शिष्यं गौतमं प्रत्युवाच—“गौतम, शीघ्रमस्य भूमिपतेरर्घ्यं आनय।”
