षष्टिर्यानि सहस्राणि ऋषीणामूर्ध्वरेतसाम् ।
ऊर्जायान्तु वसिष्ठस्य सप्ताजायन्त वै सुताः ॥
ṣaṣṭir yāni sahasrāṇi ṛṣīṇām ūrdhva-retasām | ūrjāyāṃ tu vasiṣṭhasya saptājāyanta vai sutāḥ ||
