Adhyaya 23 — The Brahmin and His Wife
येऽर्था नित्या ये विनश्यन्ति चान्ये ये वा स्थूला ये च सूक्ष्मातिसूक्ष्माः ।
ये वा भूमौ येऽन्तरीक्षेऽन्यतो वा तेषां तेषां त्वत्त एवोपलब्धिः ॥
ye'rthā nityā ye vinaśyanti cānye ye vā sthūlā ye ca sūkṣmātisūkṣmāḥ /
ye vā bhūmau ye 'ntarīkṣe 'nyato vā teṣāṃ teṣāṃ tvatta evopalabdhiḥ
ये केचन नित्यभावाः, ये चान्ये विनश्यन्ति; ये स्थूला ये च सूक्ष्मा अतिसूक्ष्माश्च; भूमौ अन्तरिक्षे वा अन्यत्र वा—ते सर्वे त्वयैव ज्ञायन्ते॥

Knowledge itself is a divine participation: all cognition—of permanent principles or transient forms—depends on Devī. Ethically, learning and discernment are to be approached as sacred responsibilities.

Sarasvatī is implied as the inner light of awareness by which any object appears; the ‘most subtle’ points to the seer-principle itself, apprehended through her grace.
