A ruler’s excellence is framed as reliability: merely being ‘remembered’ results in immediate aid—an ideal of governance where authority is accessible and protective, not distant.
Vaṃśānucarita: the king’s fame and function as savior are part of the exemplary royal biography.
Remembrance (smaraṇa) as a saving act echoes devotional logic: turning the mind to the protector becomes the first step out of crisis—psychologically and spiritually.
