कृत्स्नो मृतस्तथाश्नाति उभे सुकृतदुष्कृते ।

कथं ते च तथा तस्य फलं सम्पादयन्त्युत ॥

Transliteration

kṛtsno mṛtas tathāśnāti ubhe sukṛta-duṣkṛte |

kathaṃ te ca tathā tasya phalaṃ sampādayanty uta ||

Translation

सर्वथा मृतोऽपि स पुण्यपापे उभे भुङ्क्ते। तानि कर्माणि तस्य कथं तदा फलानि जनयन्ति?
