इस प्रकार श्रीमहाभारत विराटप्वके अन्तर्गत गोहरणपर्वमें उत्तर दिशासे गौओंके अपहरण के प्रसंगमें उत्तरके आश्वासनसे सम्बन्ध रखनेवाला अड़तीसवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ
Iti prakāraṃ Śrīmahābhārate Virāṭaparvaṇi antargate Goharaṇaparvaṇi uttaradiśaḥ gāvo'pakaraṇaprasange Uttarasya āśvāsanena sambandhaṃ rakṣamāṇaḥ aṣṭatriṃśattamo'dhyāyaḥ samāptaḥ.
इति श्रीमहाभारते विराटपर्वणि गोहरणपर्वणि उत्तरदिग्गोग्रहणप्रसङ्गे उत्तराश्वासनसम्बन्धोऽष्टत्रिंशोऽध्यायः समाप्तः ॥
वैशम्पायन उवाच
