विराट उवाच यथैव मम रत्नानि युष्माकं तानि वै तथा । कार्य कुरुत वै सर्वे यथाकामं यथासुखम्,विराटने कहा--युद्धमें शत्रुओंका संहार करनेवाले वीरो! ये रत्न और धन जैसे मेरे हैं, वैसे ही तुमलोगोंके भी। तुम सब लोग यहाँ सुखपूर्वक रहो और जिस कार्यमें तुमलोगोंकी रुचि हो, वही करो। मैं तुम सबको वस्त्राभूषणोंसे विभूषित कन्याएँ, नाना प्रकारके रत्न, धन तथा और भी मनोवांछित पदार्थ देता हूँ
