Chapter 125
भयात् संस्तम्भितभुज: सृक्किणी लेलिहन् मुहुः । ततोअब्रवीद् देवराजश्व्यवनं भयपीडित:
bhayāt saṁstambhitabhujaḥ sṛkkīṇī lelihan muhuḥ | tato 'bravīd devarājaś cyavanaṁ bhayapīḍitaḥ ||
लोमश उवाच— भयात् संस्तम्भितभुजः सृक्किणी मुहुर्लेलिहन्, देवराज इन्द्रो भयपीडितस्ततः च्यवनं प्रत्यब्रवीत्। यम इव विवृतास्यं घोरं मदासुरं स्वं ग्रसitumभ्युपयान्तं दृष्ट्वा विनाशभयविह्वलः स धर्मप्रतिज्ञामाश्रित्य शरणं जगाम— अद्यप्रभृति अश्विनौ सोमपानार्हौ भविष्यतः; एतद्वचनं मम सत्यं, तस्मात् मे मुनिः प्रसीदतु।
