Sañjaya’s Envoy-Speech on Peace
नाश्रेयान् वै प्रावारान् संविवस्ते कथं त्वस्मान् सम्प्रणुदेत् कुरुभ्य: । अन्रैव स्यादबुधस्यैव काम: प्राय: शरीरे हृदयं दुनोति
sañjaya uvāca |
nāśreyān vai prāvārān saṃvivaste kathaṃ tv asmān sampranudet kurubhyaḥ |
anṛ eva syād abudhasyaiva kāmaḥ prāyaḥ śarīre hṛdayaṃ dunoti ||
सञ्जय उवाच—नाश्रेयांश्च प्रावारान् संविवस्ते; कथं त्वस्मान् सम्प्रणुदेत् कुरुभ्यः? अयं तु कामोऽबुधस्यैव; प्रायः शरीरे हृदयं दुनोति।
