Śikhaṇḍī-janma-nigūḍha-vṛtta (The concealed birth-account of Śikhaṇḍī) | शिखण्डी-जन्म-निगूढ-वृत्त

किमत्र तथ्यं सुश्रोणि मिथ्या कि ब्रूहि शोभने । श्र॒त्वा त्वत्त: शुभं वाक्‍्यं संविधास्याम्यहं तथा,“यह सोचकर वे ऐसा मानने लगे हैं कि मेरे साथ धोखा किया गया है और इसलिये वे अपने मित्रों, सैनिकों तथा सेवकोंसहित आकर मुझे यत्नपूर्वक उखाड़ फेंकना चाहते हैं। सुश्रोणि! यहाँ क्या सच है और क्या झूठ? शोभने! इस बातको तुम्हीं बताओ। तुम्हारे मुखसे निकले हुए शुभ वचनको सुनकर मैं वैसा ही करूँगा

kim atra tathyaṃ suśroṇi mithyā kiṃ brūhi śobhane | śrutvā tvattaḥ śubhaṃ vākyaṃ saṃvidhāsyāmy ahaṃ tathā ||
