Amba–Rama–Bhishma Dialogue on Vow and Refuge
शरणागतां महाबाहो कन्यां न त्यक्तुमरहसि । यदि भीष्मो रणे राम समाहूतस्त्वया मृधे,“महाबाहो! यह कन्या शरणमें आयी है; अतः आपको इसका त्याग नहीं करना चाहिये। भृगुनन्दन राम! यदि युद्धमें आपके बुलानेपर भीष्म सामने आकर अपनी पराजय स्वीकार करे अथवा आपकी बात ही मान ले तो इस कन्याका कार्य सिद्ध हो जायगा
