वैशम्पायन उवाच—एकां गां निष्कसंयुक्तां ब्राह्मणाय निवेदयेत्। हरिवंशपाठसमाप्तौ च सहस्रं ब्राह्मणान् भोजयित्वा स्वर्णनिष्कयुक्तां गां ब्राह्मणाय दद्यात्—एष दानधर्मः पुण्यप्रदः।
