Educational Q&A

The verse highlights the supreme, beginningless Lord (Puruṣottama/Nārāyaṇa) as the inner support of cosmic order—so present and powerful that even the Sun’s radiance is portrayed as his abode; recognizing this evokes reverence and wonder.

A Nāga addresses a brāhmaṇa and points to a theological-cosmological marvel: the Supreme Lord is said to dwell in the Sun’s sphere, from whom life’s ‘seeds’ arise and by whose support the earth and all beings are sustained.
