Mahāvasu’s Fall by Speech-Error and Release through Devotion (अज-विवादः वसोः शापः विमोचनं च)

बभौ तदा भावितात्मा विधूम इव पावक: । कुरुनन्दन! अपने पिताके समान ही परम उत्तम रूप और कान्ति धारण किये पवित्रात्मा शुकदेव धूमरहित अग्निके समान देदीप्यमान हो रहे थे

babhau tadā bhāvitātmā vidhūma iva pāvakaḥ | kurunandana! apne pitāke samāna hī param-uttama rūpa aur kānti dhāraṇ kiye pavitrātmā śukadeva dhūmarahita agni ke samāna dīdyamāna ho rahe the |

भीष्म उवाच— बभौ तदा भावितात्मा विधूम इव पावकः। कुरुनन्दन! पितृसदृशं परमोत्कृष्टं रूपं कान्तिं च बिभ्राणः शुकदेवः शुद्धात्मा धूमरहिताग्निरिव दीदीप्यत।
