ते सर्वे स्वर्गते तस्मिंस्तस्य पुत्रानपूजयन् । राजन! उन महात्मा गौतमके यजमान जो राजा लोग थे, वे सब उनके स्वर्गवासी हो जानेपर उनके पुत्रोंका ही आदर-सत्कार करने लगे
te sarve svargate tasmiṁs tasya putrān apūjayan | rājan |
वैशम्पायन उवाच—तस्मिन् महात्मनि स्वर्गते, ये राजानः पूर्वं तस्य यजमानाः आसन्, ते सर्वे तस्य पुत्रान् एव पूजयामासुः, राजन्, तेषां सत्कारं च चक्रुः।
